McMinnville, Oregon is surrounded by over 220 wineries within 20 miles of our historic downtown. There are six American Viticultural Areas (AVAs) including McMinnville, Yamhill-Carlton, Eola-Amity Hills, Dundee Hills, Ribbon Ridge and Chehalem Mountains. With more than 200 wineries in these AVAs which are easily accessible and central to the town of McMinnville, you’ll need to come to terms with the fact that you may be visiting vineyard after vineyard and tasting room after tasting room during your entire stay and still not get to all of our region’s wineries. And believe us when we say you’ll want to sip at all of them because each unique AVAs’ grapes offer distinct characteristics based on where they were grown.
McMinnville’s prime location makes it a perfect destination for wine lovers visiting Willamette Valley vineyards and wineries. It’s time to get sipping!
