A Bougie Truffle Tromp with Black Tie Tours

The Bougie Truffle Tromp begins with a pickup from a Downtown Newberg location. Black Tie Tours will transport you to their local truffle forest to meet up with the truffle hunting team and guest winemaker. Then you’ll learn some of the basics of truffles and truffle hunting from Stefan before setting out into the woods. That’s where the magic happens! The truffle team will work hard and get as many quality truffles as they can before you move on to lunch. 
Lunch will be served in a covered area by Chef Erick Caballero of Paradiso Restaurant. Weather permitting, he’ll cook the fresh and local fare over a fire on site and incorporate fresh truffles so you can enjoy the tasty delights you just unearthed.
The guest winemaker/winery owner will pour their wines during lunch and tell you all about their process, history and what makes those wines special to them. Oregon pinot noir and truffle are a natural pairing.
If guests are up for another run through the woods, then you can give it another go to see if you can get a few more before Black Tie Tours sends you on your way with a truffle or two of your own.
