Butterfly Gourd Workshop at Currents Gallery

Learn a lot of different techniques in this two day workshop. Using a carver, you will be removing gourd skin, stippling, making holes and more…all in an effort to make an interesting background for beautiful, painted butterflies. Some time will be spent on the ‘paint’ process. Students will leave with a finished project. The material fee includes a tall body gourd, cut and cleaned. You will receive a supply list upon registration.
