Keynote Concert Series: John Nilsen

John Nilsen is a pianist, guitarist, vocalist and songwriter and one of the Pacific Northwest’s successful performers and recording artists. Nilsen’s recording label, Magic Wing, has a catalog of twenty titles, all distributed internationally. His record sales far exceed a million copies, a rare accomplishment in the music industry. 240 of his compositions and arrangements receive performance royalties. Over the past thirty-five years he has averaged over 200 performances a year as a solo artist and as a member of his two bands. The Oregonian wrote, “John Nilsen’s career is the envy of many musicians.” Keyboard Magazine added that “His musicianship is flawless.”
