Secrets of the Past: “Chasing the Echo: The Call of the Klondike”

The Yamhill County Historical Society invites the public to an exploration of history with our upcoming Secrets of the Past program with guest speaker Edward Loy, author of “Chasing the Echo: The Call of the Klondike”, an examination of the lives and contributions of the Watts family during the Klondike Gold Rush. This event will take place on Tues., October 15, 2024, 6pm-7:30 pm, at the Yamhill Valley Heritage Center, 11275 SW Durham Lane, McMinnville $5 suggested donation for nonmembers, shedding light on the legacy of Charles W. Watts, whose compelling letters from Alaska document a remarkable chapter in Oregon’s history.
