Celebrate 120 Years of McMenamins Hotel Oregon!🌞🌛 Originally built in 1905 as Hotel Elberton, this Richardsonian Romanesque-style building has been a cornerstone of McMinnville’s history. Starting as the town’s most elegant hotel—with 26 rooms, a cigar store, a ladies’ parlor, and lodging priced at just $0.75 to $1.00 per night—it quickly became a hub for locals and visitors alike. Over the decades, the building evolved with the times, becoming Hotel Oregon in 1932, a bus depot in the 1960s, and eventually falling into decline before its grand transformation by McMenamins in 1999. Today, it stands as Yamhill County’s largest historic hotel, complete with its iconic rooftop bar offering the best views in town. On Saturday, January 25, celebrate 120 years of this landmark’s history! Enjoy history tours, live music, food and drink specials, and more. For full event details, head to @mcmenaminshoteloregon and start planning your visit. Don’t miss this chance to toast to history and be part of the story!
