Currents Gallery Presents: “Poetic Artistry”

Our April/May show will feature the work of our Associate Artists who volunteer their time to help run the gallery.

As a bonus, local poets will add a lyric touch by composing poetry to accompany some of the art. This form of presentation, referred to as “ekphrasis”, is a charming way for the viewer to enjoy two forms of art.  Poems will be read aloud at the Opening Reception on Saturday, April 6. The readings will begin at 1:00 pm.

Deanna White, Karel Murphy, Cindy Stinson-Chennell, Genie Stewart, Joel Zak, Margaret Eagle and Koka Filipovic

Opening Reception:  Saturday, April 6, 1pm to 4pm.

Gallery Hours: Wednesday – Saturday 11am – 4 pm, Sunday 11am – 3pm
