Winemaker Takeover Series: X Novo

Join us every Friday in August, in The Cellar at ōkta as we continue our winemaker takeover series. This month we will be traveling around the world as we host International Importers. They will be bringing some highly coveted bottles and curating flights that have never been poured as one collection before.

Here’s what’s in store:

August 2 – Killdeer Distilling
Killdeer Distilling owners Colin & Kate Fisher (our neighbors at ōkta farm on Ribbon Ridge) will be pouring tastings of their barrel-aged gin, vodka, rye, and bourbon and our bar team will be creating specialty cocktails featuring their spirits. Tickets

August 9 – Marcus Pakiser, Master Sake Sommelier
Marcus Pakiser is known around the world for his passion for sake. He will be sharing his expertise and pouring sake flights highlighting small productions and new producers. Tickets

August 16 – Winderlea Vineyard & Winery
Winderlea Vineyard & Winery owners Bill Sweat and Donna Morris will be pouring library flights featuring single vineyard Pinot Noir, vintage Chardonnay, and Sparkling. Tickets

August 23 – Iterum Wines
Iterum Wines owner and winemaker, Joe Dobbes, will be joining us to showcase his new collection of single vineyard, small production Sparkling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. Tickets

August 30 – X Novo
After an esteemed career in Napa, Craig Williams returns to winemaking with his Eola-Amity venture X Novo. Craig will be joined by winemaker Jamie Lewis as they take over our Cellar bar to pour from their new collection, including Pinot Noir and (unreleased!) Chardonnay. Tickets

Space is limited, tickets recommended. Walk-ins welcomed on a first come, first served basis.

Tastings and flights available for purchase. Small bites from the ōkta kitchen will also be available for purchase. Events run 5:30-8:30 PM with a casual, drop in when you can, atmosphere.
