1-Day Barnstormer Camp

Join the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum as we explore Bessie Coleman’s pioneering journey to become the first Black woman and first Native American descendent to earn a pilot’s license. Coleman’s inspiring life story, related through a live theatrical performance by her great-niece Gigi Coleman, encourages individuals to achieve their dreams.

Come along with us on our 1-Day Barnstormer Camp on February 16th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Barnstormer Campers benefit from the live performance of Gigi Coleman in addition to a full day of activities. We honor Bessie’s Flight Training Center legacy by inviting 30 students to join our own Flight Training Center for the day. With adult supervision, Barnstormer Campers can also enjoy the full museum from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. outside of camp hours.
