Book Club at Youngberg Hill

Join our very own bookworm, Gisselle, on a literary journey unlike any other. She’s selected a number of books focusing on wine, Oregon, and overall great reading. We will meet once a month from 5:30 pm. – 7:00 pm on the deck (weather permitting) or in our tasting room. Glass and bottles will be available for purchase.
June – Eight Hundred Grapes by Laura Dave (Romance set in the Sonoma Hills)
July – The Veuve Cliquot by Tilar J. Mazzeo (Biography about the Widow Cliquot- the woman behind one of the most iconic champagne empires)
August – Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury (Set in the summer of 1928 in a fictional town inspired by the author’s hometown in Illinois)
September – Voodoo Vintners by Katherine Cole (A look into Oregon’s biodynamic winemaking practices. Recommended by Wayne!)
October – Lies We Bury by Elle Marr (A mystery set in Portland)
November – The Billionaire’s Vinegar by Benjamin Wallace (The mystery behind the most expensive bottle of wine)
December – I Drink, Therefore I Am by Roger Scruton (A fun philosopher’s guide to wine drinking)
