Carlton Observatory Presents: Space, Hope and Charity

Please join us for this Holiday Gala Premiere of “Space, Hope and Charity”! Friday, December 8th, 6:00 pm at the Evergreen Theater Building $100/pp includes an elegant hors d’oeuvres, dessert, & champagne reception. Principles of the movie will be in attendance!

“Space, Hope and Charity” is a documentary film about a girl named Charity Woodrum whose big dreams seemed out of reach in the small Oregon town where she was growing up. When she finally felt she might achieve her dream of being an astrophysicist working for NASA, her future was nearly derailed when tragedy struck. The film weaves together themes of persistence, resilience, mentorship, space exploration, and the life-changing power of human connection through Charity’s personal journey.
