Winemaker Takeover: Greek Wines with Diamond Wine Importers

Join us every Friday, June 14-July 5, in The Cellar at ōkta as we continue our winemaker takeover series. This month we will be traveling around the world as we host International Importers. They will be bringing some highly coveted bottles and curating flights that have never been poured as one collection before.

Here’s what’s in store:

  • June 14 – Greek Wines: Danny Klieman from Diamond Wine Importers and Lonesome Rock will be pouring Greek wines, including some of the oldest varietals in existence. Tickets
  • June 21 – European Old World Varietals: Timothy Davey from Lone Wolf Wine will be pouring a collection that has limited imports in our region, featuring European Old World, unknown, and small production varietals. Additionally, he will present flights from the Becky Wasserman Portfolio, one of the pioneering woman-owned importing companies in the U.S. Tickets
  • June 28 – First Time Imports: AJ McCafferty from Oben Wine Company (OWC) will be pouring flights featuring new and exciting Old World producers, including first-time imports. Additionally, he will showcase selections from iconic California winemaker Raj Parr. Tickets
  • July 5 – International Luxury Portfolio: Nils Johnson and Derrick Williams from The Spire Collection will be pouring a selection of luxury producers from France, Italy, California, Australia, and South Africa that have never been opened as a collection, including Vérité. Tickets

Space is limited, tickets recommended. Walk-ins welcomed on a first come, first served basis.

Tastings and flights available for purchase. Small bites from the ōkta kitchen will also be available for purchase. Events run 5:30-8:30 PM with a casual, drop in when you can, atmosphere.
