Humble Spirit

Humble Spirit is a purpose-driven, farm-to-table restaurant located on historic Third Street in downtown McMinnville. A key part of The Ground—a regenerative hospitality and agriculture collective that also includes Tabula Rasa Farms, Source Farms, and Stillwater Event Space—Humble Spirit is rooted in sustainability, zero-waste cooking, and local, seasonal sourcing.

The kitchen is led by Chef Sara Hauman, a 2025 James Beard Award nominee, whose inventive and heartfelt cooking celebrates the bounty of the Willamette Valley. The menu rotates frequently to reflect what’s fresh from the farm and regional partners, with standout dishes like grass-fed beef meatballs, pastured pork burgers, seasonal vegetables, and handmade pastas. One beloved favorite is the “TRFO” (Tabula Rasa Farms Oreo), a rich, house-made dessert made with lard from the farm.

The beverage menu showcases the region’s best, with curated wines, craft beers, and cocktails that complement the kitchen’s flavors.
