Abuela’s Nuestra Cocina is a heartfelt, family-owned restaurant rooted in tradition and community. The owners moved to McMinnville six years ago to stay close to their college-bound children and quickly became part of the fabric of the town. Today, they’re proud Linfield parents and grateful members of the McMinnville community.

Guests stepping into Abuela’s are welcomed by a wall of angel wings—a tribute of love from friends, family, and loyal customers who have supported them throughout the years.

Formerly part of Mezcal Sabores de Mexico, Abuela’s now stands on its own as a celebration of the powerful women who inspired it. Named in honor of the family’s abuelas—Julieta, Felicitas, Maria, Gloria, and Manuela—this restaurant showcases the strength, resilience, and culinary legacy of generations who overcame challenges in Mexico City and Cuernavaca to care for their families.
