Family Winemakers Tasting Loop: Tasting for a Cause

Special tasting experiences where the fees are donated 100% to a local charity

Willamette Valley, Oregon: Who are we and what is this tasting loop? We are a small group of wineries where the family are both the owners and the winemakers, who have joined together to offer special ‘in the loop’ tasting experiences to benefit charity.  100% of the fees paid for these special tastings will go to benefit A Family Place, a charity that provides resources, home visits and counseling to families with at risk children in our county.

As small business owners and farmers, we care deeply about our land, our wines and our community which is why we take great care in how we treat the land and try to give back to the community whenever possible.

“A Family Place could not operate without the support of partners like our local wineries. We are proud to report that with the support of our community partners, Yamhill County has the lowest rates of childhood neglect and abuse in the State of Oregon for the second year in a row,” said Jordan Robinson, Area Director at A Family Place.

The wineries: Bethel Heights Vineyard, Coeur de Terre Vineyard, Dominio IV WineryTrisaetum Winery, Lange Estate Winery

The experiences: All wineries will be adding something special and additional to their typical tasting options (such as additional pours of reserve or vineyard designate wines or offering a seated tasting with bites and a specific education focus).
