As you plan to show gratitude this year by gathering with family and friends, skip the big-box stores and instead shop small for all of your holiday dinner needs. Your meal will be made with the very best ingredients, and you can feel good knowing that you supported our community. From ethically sourced meats to freshly picked produce, with home baked pies in-between, here is where to find all of your items for a fabulous feast within miles of your home. Now that is something to be truly grateful for.

Eola Crest & 71X Farm Store: This family-owned and operated farm and store is known for its meat that comes from happy and healthy animals. The store also features several staple items (eggs, seasonings, milk, cheese, etc.) and gifts from local makers. Farm-fresh turkeys, bone-in half hams, and prime ribs are available. Reserve your turkey for pick up on the Saturday before Thanksgiving, when Even Pull produce will also be available for purchase.

Alchemist’s Jam: Along with a dazzling array of sweetly-made jams, Alchemist is the perfect stop for expertly-crafted baked goods and breads, including cinnamon rolls, croissants, sourdough boules, baguettes, or focaccia.

Mac Market Harvest Market: Stop by Mac Market on Saturday, November 23, from 12:00 to 3:00PM to shop for perfectly-grown produce from Even Pull Farm, endlessly exciting provisions from Hayward, gorgeous pies from Alea Bakery (order ahead), bagels for a busy morning from Best Coast Bagels, knife sharpening from Lost Line Sharpening, and delightful drinks from Liska Wine, CHO Wines, Branch Point Distillery, and Wilderton Spirits. Bring your finished and complete puzzles for a puzzle swap and grab a warm drink while sitting by the fire.

Wellspent Market: The small shop in Mac Market is jam-packed with items for your next event, including an array of vermouths, cheeses, snacks, Even Pull produce, and more.

Village Provisions: This mother-daughter-run shop features much-needed pantry ingredients to make your meal complete, such as butter, flour, sugar, and more. And you can feel good what you buy because each item sold is carefully sourced with health and environmental impact in mind.

Bierly Brewery: Swing by this gluten-free brewery and restaurant to pick up several cans of their smooth and malty Ganz Vienna Lager, which is the perfect pairing for turkey. While there, grab one of their sinfully-satisfying donuts or pastries for all your hard work.

Durant at Red Ridge Farms: Olive oils made less than 15 minutes from your doorstep deserve a spot in your celebrations. The Farm Shop offers tastings of its variety of olive oils, including those that are infused with garlic, lemon, orange, and more. You can also pick up vinegars and locally-made gifts for those who might be hosting.

Velvet Monkey Tea: Stop in the basement shop, located below Bella Casa, to find the perfect tea to pair with a slice of pie or end the meal. There are a variety of different blends to choose from, as well as chocolates for a quick gift if you happen to be the guest.

Blue Raeven Pie: The real reason most of us celebrate the season is pie (Shh, it’s our little secret). And Blue Raeven is the place to go for all of your pie needs, including pumpkin. pumpkin chiffon, pecan, mincemeat, and so many more. The last day to place orders for Thanksgiving is November 18, and all orders must be picked up at the Amity location.
