Alea is a daytime café and culinary concept tucked inside Mac Market, offering handcrafted pastries, naturally leavened breads, and a hyper-seasonal menu that reflects the best of the Willamette Valley. Founded by Michelin-trained duo Brendan and Haley Byer, Alea blends world-class technique with small-town heart—sourcing directly from local growers and transforming humble ingredients into nourishing, memorable fare.

Open Wednesday through Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Alea’s menu features everything from buttery croissants and savory en croûtes to housemade pasta, elevated lunch options, and locally roasted Summon coffee. You’ll also find curated wine and beer, all served in the heart of McMinnville’s Granary District at the beloved community hub, Mac Market.
