Dan Gibson (he/him) is Visit McMinnville’s Chief Executive Officer. He spent most of his life in Tucson, Arizona, including recent roles in marketing and communications at Visit Tucson and Tucson Medical Center. Previously, he was the editor of an alt-weekly and a music curator and journalist. He is a graduate of Oregon State University and a five-time game show contestant. He enjoys spending time with his family, reading, watching soccer, and exploring McMinnville and the rest of Oregon.
Lee McCollins (he/they) grew up in the mid-Willamette Valley, moved to Portland in 2001, and has called McMinnville home since 2016. Before joining Visit McMinnville as Director of Marketing and Communications, Lee wore many hats as Director of Marketing at Durant Vineyards, Durant Olive Mill, and Red Ridge Farms. Before the eight years at Durant, Lee worked in Marketing at Whole Foods Market.
When not being a champion for the great town of McMinnville, Oregon, Lee spends his time gardening, exploring Oregon’s countryside, cooking, and baking. Lee co-owns a small wine brand in Portland, OR, called Augustina Cellars. He serves on the Yamhill County Court Appointed Special Advocate Board of Directors and lends his creative talents to multiple other community organizations in Yamhill County.
James Howe (she/her), a Wyoming native, relocated to McMinnville with her family in 2009. She has enjoyed exploring several creative outlets in McMinnville, such as acting on the Gallery Theater stage, playing her flute in Second Winds Community Band, and as a singer/songwriter and guitarist in a local duo. In 2018, James received her bachelor’s degree in Public Policy & Administration with an emphasis on Communications. James is Visit McMinnville’s Marketing Coordinator & Arts Liaison, and she is the editor of CRUSH, Visit McMinnville’s monthly printed arts & culture publication.
James serves on the Gallery Theater Board of Directors, Gallery’s marketing and grant writing committees, McMinnville Urban Renewal Area Committee, Walnut City Music Festival Committee, and is a co-founder of Make Music McMinnville.
Lisa Macy-Baker (she/her), a native McMinnvillian, returned to McMinnville in 2007 after living in Corvallis, Portland and Bend. Before joining Visit McMinnville as Destination Development Manager, Lisa spent much of her career teaching and coaching tennis, most recently at Linfield University. Lisa has spent the last few years doing development work on the Oregon Coast.
Lisa founded and serves as the executive director of the McMinnville Community Tennis Association, a non-profit providing affordable youth tennis programming. She is the current chair of the Three Capes Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and the Nestucca Valley Community Alliance. She serves on the McMinnville Swim Club Board of Directors, the Parks and Recreation MacPac Committee, and the South Tillamook County Parking Advisory Committee. In addition, she coaches youth basketball and tennis.
Olivia Rovang (they/she), a proud native of Oregon, is the Destination Development Coordinator for Visit McMinnville.
Before joining Visit McMinnville in 2023, Olivia spent 5 years living in Prescott, AZ, obtaining degrees in Sustainable Food Systems, where they completed coursework in agroecology, sustainable community development, food justice, and value chain assessment. Additionally, during school, Olivia worked as a barista, gaining customer service experience and connecting with the community through the customer service lens.
During non-working hours, you can generally find Olivia on the nearest hiking trail, wandering through the trees looking for birds or interesting moss. They also enjoy reading, crafting, live music, and yoga.
